Fall in love with your system all over again!

Control4 has launched their OS 3.4.0 update with a big improvement to its User Experience. You can now enjoy an easier, more intuitive User Experience (UX) than ever before, thanks to its easily recognisable, modernised icons, and a redesigned Colour and Colour Temperature Selector. Using the updated Control4 app, you can now add and remove secondary users, create your own system notifications, and also hear audio with your surveillance camera feed. Check out the new feature below!

1. USER INTERFACE

Redesigned Colour and Colour Temperature Selector

Independently control colour, saturation and brightness of your colour-capable and tunable white lighting with newly revamped controls.

Upgraded Camera Experience

The Camera page now supports multi-cam live streaming, with new indicators for live feed or time stamped snapshot. You can also hear audio  with supporting cameras like the Luma® X20 series.

2. HALO FIRMWARE

Halo FW v1.6

Adds dynamic icons for Watch, Listen, Lighting, Comfort and the thermostat, for more intuitive feedback and control. Includes additional optimizations and fixes.

 

3. CONTROL4 APP

All New User Management

Control4 systems can now support two types of user profiles — “Admin” and “Standard.” Admins can invite and edit users as well as define their roles. Only Admins will be able to see account information and update property details.

In-App Event Notification Management

Now you can directly enable, mute, and pin Event notifications yourself.

4. NEW DRIVERS BUILT

Luma Navigation Driver

The new Luma Navigation Driver now provides navigation controls and discrete commands for the User Interface.

*This driver is not compatible with the Luma X10 NVRs.

Programming Cycler Utility Driver

This driver now allows you to make a selection from a rotation of options which has been expanded to up to 10 items, and can include any programming type.

It can also be connected to a keypad button or programmed to any other input or event allowing you to cycle through all configured items.

5. NEW CLOUD ENHANCEMENTS

Remote Access

IP cameras can now connect via lightning servers for a faster, more reliable connection for camera streams, especially for LIVE streams and when in the individual Camera View.
